This is a portrait I drew for my buddy Patreesha. Lately, I have been drawing a lot of portraits for no reason in particular, and I am just churning them out of late. You might also notice that I've started to use my old art signature (look in the bottom right under her hair). This is because a lot of my stuff has been ending up in random places, and I am trying to at least get a little credit for it.

EQUANIMITY

Equanimity: The quality of being calm and even-tempered; composure.
This is the first piece I've drawn in almost 10 months, and it was very fun to get back into illustration, if only for a little bit. I tried to give the concept of equanimity an artistic form, and I think that on some level I succeeded. Note the addition of the Beauty star from the Cutout Collection. Drawn entirely in spot colors; additional color schemes should follow shortly.

this is the engineering symbol for energy. well, kinda. anyways, i just wanted to draw the big energy circle, and the backgroun just kinda evolved when i was playing around with some ideas. the text matches the line that is underneath it.

i drew this in response the quote i made up one day "Become What You Hate" while feeling philosophical. i drew the fist using the pencil tool, which is much different from what i usually use. this turned out being very profound and artistic, and i like it alot.
